It was a
grey, cold day on Thursday, the 27th of November,
1930. A Mid-wife entered No.3 Caroline
Street,West Hartlepool, England. In a little
while, the clouds parted and a ray of sunshine
lit up the house.
From the
front bedroom the cry of a baby was heard, as the
midwife smacked the wrong end, yes, Thomas Hood
Kidd junior had arrived. It had been hoped that
he would be born on the 22nd of November, his
fathers birth date, but it was not to be.
Nevertheless, here he was, a fine healthy baby
boy, destined for mediocrity.

Now more
about me. I am married with two children,
well..... they were children. We have three grand
children too, confused, me too. We emigrated to
Australia in 1964 and are still here. My
interests are dispersed through these web pages,
so have a gander. What more can I tell you that
isn't in these pages ?. If I think of something
I'll add it on , so stay tuned, over and out.
