The following Churches have an association
with the Kidd Family

 

ALL SAINTS CHURCH STRANTON

The Parish Church of Stranton (dedicated to All Saints) is the mother Church of West Hartlepool. The Present church dates back to the 14th or 15th century( a small portion may be even earlier but there is authentic historic evidence of the existence of a church on this spot in 1129, Robert de Brus having then given patronage and greater tithes of the Church of Stranton, together with its dependant Chapelry of Seaton, dedicated to St. Thomas a Beckett (of which no trace remains) to Guisborough priory in that year.
